General Skilled Migration
Visas under this category are suitable to skilled applicants with tertiary or trade qualification.
You must be less than 45 years of age, have sound English language ability, have either tertiary or trade qualifications, and have recent skilled work experience. You must have your skills assessed in Australia by the relevant assessing authority before you can lodge your visa application.
Your prospects of success may also be enhanced if you have a close relative living in Australia.
